Mohamed’s career spans more than a decade of healthcare administration and operations leadership. He began as Senior Hospital Administrator at Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group in Riyadh, where he spent over eight years overseeing medical activities, developing policies, managing budgets, and maintaining relationships with government officials and healthcare advocacy groups. He later moved to Canada, working as a Medical Transfer Attendant with Spectrum Health Care and subsequently as a Clinical System Analyst at Trillium Health Partners, where he conducted in-depth observation sessions with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to identify workflow variations and opportunities for electronic medical record enhancement.
Mohamed went on to serve as Managing Director at UPGRADE Smart Solutions in Canada, leading strategic planning, workflow re-engineering, and clinical-to-technical translation services for hospitals, while building collaborative partnerships with healthcare institutions to deliver tailored technology solutions. He also held a brief stint as Clinical Operations and Analytics Senior Manager at Meena Health before joining MOVE Comprehensive Sports Medicine in Riyadh as Director of Operations in May 2025, a role he continues to hold.
An alumnus of Eastern University, Mohamed describes himself as a healthcare leader focused on healthcare operations, workflow optimization, clinical application and data, and AI and ML. He is a vocal advocate for the transformative potential of artificial intelligence in healthcare, emphasizing how unstructured patient data can be harnessed to illuminate critical points in the patient journey and improve outcomes through data-driven insight.
