Background-
Social-first creative agency Stitchy has appointed Oli Morgan as business partner on an initial four-month contract. He will report to founder and chief operating officer Ange Douglas-Kilgannon.
Morgan has worked at some of the best-known creatively led agencies, including Wieden+Kennedy, Mother, R/GA and Droga5. He has handled major brands and integrated accounts.
At Stitchy, he will work across the client portfolio, starting with Hargreaves Lansdown, and will support Douglas-Kilgannon on client leadership and operations as the agency grows.
The hire follows a fast expansion for the East London independent. Stitchy began as a full-service agency less than a year ago. Its client list now includes Hargreaves Lansdown, Meta, Lime, Faith In Nature, Nomadic, Tote, Little Moons and boost AI. The agency has also widened its work across strategy, creative, content, comms planning and media.
Morgan said Stitchy has grown quickly, works with ambitious clients and has a clear picture of what it wants to become. He said joining at this stage to help shape its next phase appealed to him.
Douglas-Kilgannon said the agency is building around experienced people rather than traditional hierarchy. She said she and Morgan first worked together at Wieden+Kennedy many years ago, so she knows the quality of his thinking and client leadership. She called his arrival a significant addition.
